The recall includes the Living Glow five-in-one portable waist fan Model Number CP-WFLED01. The recalled waist fan features five fan speeds, a three-mode flashlight, and could be used as a power bank. The recalled fans were sold in gray, white, aqua, coral, red, and sage green. They feature a metal clip for attaching to a belt and a strap for wearing around the neck. The fans measure about 3.6 by 4 inches.
The hazard: the lithium-ion battery can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard.

NOTE: For your claim to be valid, you must upload a photo of the recalled fan(s). The photo must show the label on the back of the fan and the destruction of the usb-c charging port, and a piece of paper with your initials and the date included in the photo. All submissions without a photo of the product will be discarded. See the gallery to view a fan being disabled.
Disposal: Do not throw this recalled lithium-ion battery or device in the trash, the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.
Discharge unit power to zero and then disable/damage the usb-c charging port
The safety of our products is our top priority. We learned that the lithium-ion battery can overheat while charging, posing a potential burn hazard. This is why we initiated this recall in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

We are providing a refund in the amount of $25, which is the highest retail price of the product. If you paid more for your product, you can provide us with proof of purchase showing the amount you paid, and we will refund the entire amount.
